Dulger Says Turkey Took Decision On Sending Soldiers To Iraq By Assuming Those Risks

ANKARA - Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Mehmet Dulger said on Tuesday that Turkey took the decision on sending soldiers to Iraq by assuming those risks and stated that those attacks did not affect the decision of Turkey.
Concerning the attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, Dulger said that it was a provocation of those who did not want Turkish soldiers to go to Iraq.
Dulger said that there were many secret agents both in Turkey and also in Iraq and stated that those people would do everything.
''We took this decision by assuming those risks. We should also show that we can meet those risks. Those kinds of attacks don't affect the decision of Turkey. It is not an occupation. We don't have any intention of seizing natural resources of Iraq. We will work to preserve confidence and stability in Iraq,'' Dulger said.
