ANKARA - There is a potential cooperation opportunity regarding energy systems and hydroelectric production, said Kyrgyzstan President Kurmanbek Bakiyev on Tuesday.
During his speech in a business forum held at the Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Bakiyev said that Turkey and Kyrgyzstan could cooperate in tourism, textile and leather sectors as well as electricity.
Bakiyev thanked Turkish businessmen because of thier investments to Kyrgyzstan economy.
Bakiyev also met former president Suleyman Demirel in Ankara.
