Turkish companies undertook projects worth of 136.5 million USD in Lebanon as of the end of 2005.
Construction, tourism, transportation and banking sectors were among the areas of enhancing economic relations between the two countries before the war in Lebanon.
Turkey and Lebanon have signed an agreement on commercial, industrial, technical and scientific cooperation, a protocol on joint transportation commission, an agreement on sea transportation, an agreement on international highway transportation, an agreement on prevention of double taxation and an agreement on protection of mutual investments.
