ISTANBUL - A resonant bomb exploded in Justice and Development Party (AK Party) building in Besiktas district in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Unidentified assailants left a resonant bomb under the stairs of the six-storey building in Besiktas district.
The bomb exploded breaking windows and damaging elevator.
In a separate incident another resonant bomb exploded in an empty area in the back side of AK Party building in Okmeydani district in Istanbul.
Two other resonant bombs exploded in front of AK Party buildings in Gaziosmanpasa and Basmane districts in Aegean Izmir province.
There are no reported casualties but there is financial damage.
The bombs exploded breaking windows of the building.
Party members, who were at the building, rushed to streets in panic.
Police increased security measures around AK Party buildings.
AK Party Izmir Provincial Chairman Ali Aslik said those aimed at disrupting tranquility in Turkey.
