ANKARA - Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced that consumer prices dropped 0.44 percent and producer prices reduced 0.75 percent in August 2006.
Annual inflation rate is 10.26 percent in consumer prices index and 12.32 percent in producer prices index as of August.
Meanwhile, increase in the first 8 months of 2006 was announced as 5.30 percent in consumer prices and 11.80 percent in producer prices.
In the last 12 months, annual inflation is calculated as 8.84 percent in consumer prices and 6.49 percent in producer prices.
