ANKARA/LONDON - The oil flow from Iraq to Turkey through the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline stopped, Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) officials said on Monday.
BOTAS officials told the A.A that the Iraqi side had declared that the flow would stop due to an electrical malfunction on September 1st, thus oil hadn`t been pumped since then.
According to Reuters, the flow stopped after Turkish officials told Iraq that storage at Turkey`s Ceyhan terminal was full.
But a shipping source at Ceyhan said that storage there was not full.
Kirkuk police chief Shirko Shakir also said on Monday that there had been no attack on the pipeline at the weekend.
