ISTANBUL - Turkey came on the 16th place in the world ranking of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) after acquiring a historic success in the World Basketball Championship in Japan.
Turkey clinched the sixth place after being beaten by France 56-64 in the match for the fifth place.
Earlier, Turkey was ranked the 18th in the FIBA`s World Men`s Ranking.
