PUTRAJAYA - Turkey is positive towards the draft on Iraq which calls member countries to extend every type of support within 10th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Malaysia.
Diplomatic sources said that neighbor countries to Iraq noted in the draft which was prepared separately from final statement that occupation in Iraq should rapidly end and asked OIC countries to provide every type of support to Iraq.
Diplomatic sources said that the draft ,which was about to be approved by foreign ministers and would be presented to leaders' summit on October 15, would please Turkey.
Meanwhile, officials of countries who told foreign press that Turkey should not send soldiers to Iraq did not have such demands during sessions.
Final statement, which will be released after the summit, is expected to include expressions that will please Turkey about the issues of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Western Thrace Turkish minorities.
