Visit Of Ak Party Parliamentarians To Iraq Delayed

DIYARBAKIR - Visit of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) parliamentarians to Iraq for groundbreaking ceremony of two hospitals were delayed on Sunday.
AK Party parliamentarian Turhan Comez, who would head the delegation of parliamentarians, told A.A correspondent that the visit was cancelled upon the warning of the officials in Baghdad against recent tension and escalating violence in Baghdad.
Comez said that increased violence in Iraq would endanger life security of Turkish delegation but refrained from giving information about when the delegation would go to Iraq.
The delegation headed by Comez was to lay foundation of hospitals to be built by Turkey in Baghdad and Kirkuk.
