Daylight Saving Time To End

ANKARA - Daylight saving time will end in the end of October.

The standard time will be set back by one hour at 02.00 a.m. on October 26.

The daylight saving time had started on March 30 by advancing the standard time by one hour in order to save energy.

A total of five billion 594.7 kilowatt-hour of electric energy had been saved in Turkey since 1990 due to daylight saving time practice.
