Iraq Will Become An Important Market For Turkey

ADANA - Adana Industry Chamber (ASO) Executive Board member Huseyin Sayar said on Sunday that Iraq would become an important market for Turkey when problems in commercial relations and security problems would be solved.
     Iraq tour of ASO delegation ended.
     Sayar said that an important part of big projects which would be implemented in Iraq was undertaken by U.S. firms, but Adana could have a good place in this market due to its closeness advantage and strong industry structure.
     Noting that they met with Iraqi merchants during their visit, Sayar said that Iraqi industry had a difficulty in production, thus it imported all sorts of production.
     Sayar said that qualified Turkish products were preferred to the goods of Iraq's other neighbors, Iran and Syria, and added that Iraq would become an important market for Turkey when problems in commercial relations and security problems would be solved.
