ANKARA - Iraqi delegation headed by Marek Belka, chairman of the Council for International Cooperation (CIC) for Iraq and former Finance Minister of Poland, met on Saturday with representatives of Turkish private sector.
Belka held meetings on the reconstruction of Iraq and replied to questions of private sector representatives at Ankara Palace Hotel.
Belka listened to the expectations of private sector and he said that he would convey those expectations to CIC, Iraqi Governing Council and officials of the coalition interim administration led by the United States.
Belka said that the meeting was a preparation to Madrid conference during which contributions for reconstruction of Iraq were taken up.
Foreign Ministry Coordinator for Reconstruction of Iraq Ahmet Okcun and economy bureaucrats also attended the meeting.
