ANKARA - Medical personnel and two mobile hospitals will be deployed in the place where Turkish soldiers will serve in Iraq.
Health Ministry speeded up its preparations about the medical personnel planned to be charged in Iraq after the parliament took a decision to send soldiers to Iraq.
A total of two mobile hospitals having 50 beds each will be set up in the region where Turkish soldiers will be deployed. Totally 42 doctors, four dentists, 16 nurses, four midwives, 20 technicians and eight nurses' aides will be charged in the two hospitals.
The election of the personnel will be on voluntary basis. A daily payment between 100-150 U.S. dollars will be given to the personnel.
The medical personnel will stay in the region as long as the Turkish soldiers stay there.
