ANTALYA - Ministerial Meeting of the Mediterranean Forum (FOROMED) started in southern Antalya province on Thursday.
Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul represents Turkey at the 11-member forum.
Greece, Spain, Malta, Egypt, and Algeria will be represented at Foreign Ministry level. France, Italy, Morocco, Portugal and Tunisia participate in the meeting in undersecretary and secretary general level.
Organized crimes, weapon smuggling, money laundering, fight against terrorism and formation of partnership are on the agenda of the session.
Regional and international issues concerning Mediterranean basin are expected to be discussed at the meeting.
The representatives will have a family photograph after the session and participate in dinner.
Mediterranean Forum will end on Friday with two sessions, and a news conference.
