ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 1 quadrillion 305.5 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 49 quadrillion 583.6 trillion TL between September 19-26, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 48 quadrillion 278.1 trillion TL on September 19.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 836.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 674.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 162.8 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 42 quadrillion 519.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 389.9 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
