U.S. Ambassador To Turkey Visits Foreign Ministry

ANKARA - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal met on Thursday with U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman.
No statement was released prior to the meeting.
The meeting is important for the negotiation process to start with the United States after the motion on dispatch of soldiers to Iraq was adopted by the parliament.
Meanwhile, Ziyal informed the chiefs of mission of Arab countries in Ankara and explained the aims of Turkey to send soldiers to the region.
