EDIRNE - Police captured on Thursday 43 foreigners and one Turkish person who attempted to pass border illegally in northwestern province of Edirne.
Patrolling gendarme forces caught 33 foreigners of Iranian, Iraqi, Afghan, Tunisian, Moroccan, Syrian, Palestinian and Bangladeshi origin and a Turkish person who earlier went to Greece and Bulgaria illegally and who were deported from those countries in Meric town of Edirne.
Security forces also captured 10 Iraqis who attempted to pass to Greece illegally in Ipsala town.
Officials said that foreigners would be deported following legal proceedings.
