ANKARA - Storm paralyzed on Thursday daily life in Ankara.
Roofs of some schools and houses, trees and some advertisement panels were uprooted and minaret of a mosque was demolished.
Administration of a primary school decided to evacuate the school since a part of the roof of the school was uprooted.
Another part of the roof was uprooted when one thousand 14 students were being evacuated from the school. Fortunately, nothing happened to students.
Civil defense and fire brigade came to the school to disassemble the rest of the roof of the school.
Aluminum roof plating of shopping mall Armada were also uprooted by strong winds while electricity wires which broke off due to the storm ignited grass near a LPG station. Fire was put out immediately before it caused a big threat.
Officials warned citizens against floods which could be caused by heavy rain which started after the storm.
