ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 34.2 million U.S. dollars between September 26 and October 3, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 870 million U.S. dollars on September 26, increased to 34 billion 151 million U.S. dollars on October 3.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 157 million U.S. dollars from 11 billion 66 million U.S. dollars to 11 billion 223 million U.S. dollars between September 12 and 19.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 240 million U.S. dollars from 43 billion 730 million U.S. dollars to 43 billion 970 million U.S. dollars between September 12 and 19.
