The main news items, which the service in English of the Anadolu Agency will cover on October 8, 2003, are as follows:
1- Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende will come to Ankara. Erdogan will welcome Balkenende in the Prime Ministry.
-After having a bilateral meeting, two prime ministers will chair meeting between Turkish and Dutch delegations.
-Erdogan and Balkenende will hold a press conference.
-Balkenende will be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and meet with State Minister Mehmet Aydin.
-Erdogan will host dinner in honor of Balkenende.
2- National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul will attend informal meeting of NATO defense ministers in the United States.
3- State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will meet with Pakistani Trade Minister. Tuzmen will later open Second Turkish Export Products Fair.
4- National Education Minister Huseyin Celik will go to the United States to give conference on cultural diversity and education in global world.
5- Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov will attend dinner held in his honor in Istanbul by Turkish-Bulgarian Business Council.
