32 Dehap Members Detained In Mersin

MERSIN - A total of 32 members of the Democratic People's Party (DEHAP) who protested the parliamentary decision to send soldiers to Iraq were detained in southern Mersin province.
A group of DEHAP members including also party provincial branch chairman Ali Tanriverdi held a sit-in protest and shouted slogans in favor of the terrorist organization PKK/KADEK, police intervened with the group.
The group was detained and an investigation is underway.
