ISTANBUL - Fenerbahce soccer club of Turkey has signed a four-year contract with Mateja Kezman, striker of Atletico Madrid of Spain.
Speaking after the signing ceremony in Istanbul today, 27-year-old Serbian striker said, "I am here to win a lot of trophies and score a lot of goals. I think with a coach like Zico, we have the capacity to win a lot."
Kezman joined Atletico Madrid from Chelsea in June 2005, scoring eight times in 30 Primera Liga appearances.
Meanwhile, French striker Nicolas Anelka signed a four-year contract with British Bolton Wanderers after the club agreed to pay nearly 15 million USD to Fenerbahce.
On its web-site, Fenerbahce club announced today that Brazilian striker Deivid De Souza will come to Istanbul tomorrow to sign for the club.
