SAMSUN - "We are in the preliminary studies phase to establish a refinery in northern cities of Samsun or Zonguldak," said Fikret Aliev, General Director of LUKOIL Eurasia Oil Company and Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Regional Representative, today.
Aliev and his delegation paid a visit to Samsun Governor Hasan Basri Guzeloglu.
"We have not yet decided to establish a refinery in Zonguldak. We are in Samsun for a preliminary study. The refinery we will construct will be an investment of about three billion USD. It will have an annual capacity of 8,000-10,000 tons. Aside from the refinery, we will also establish a distribution and marketing company," told Aliev.
