ISTANBUL - Serbian international striker Mateja Kezman has signed a four-year contract with Turkish first division side Fenerbahce.
No financial details were revealed of Kezman's move from Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.
But Spanish media reported that Fenerbahce paid seven million euros (nine million dollars) for the 27-year-old who transferred to Spain from English Premiership side Chelsea in June 2005 for nine million euros (11.5 million dollars).
After four successful seasons with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven from 2000-2004, Kezman did not have the same success at Chelsea or Atletico, where he scored eight goals in 30 Primera Liga games.
His departure has been expected since the arrival of Argentine Sergio Aguero and Spaniard Miguel Angel Ferrer, with the club also chasing Dynamo Moscow's Portuguese midfielder Maniche.
French striker Nicolas Anelka also departed the Istanbul club, signing for Premiership side Bolton last week.
