GAZIANTEP - Gaziantep Governor Lutfullah Bilgin said on Wednesday that they wanted to see an Iraq where peace and security were ensured.
Iraqi trade delegation headed by Mosul Governor Ghanem al-Basso visited Bilgin.
Bilgin said that they wanted Iraq to reach peace as soon as possible and everyone should contribute to this process and stated that Turkey and Iraq were neighbor countries which had good relations.
Stating that Iraq was a neighbor and friendly country of Turkey, Bilgin said that they wanted to see an Iraq which was democratic and happy. Bilgin said that Turkey had lived with Iraq friendly for long years and it continued to live like that.
Bilgin said that they wanted to improve commercial relations between Gaziantep and Mosul and added that development of commercial relations would be benefits to both countries.
Mosul Governor al-Basso said that Turkey and Iraq always had solidarity and stated that both countries were always together in their good and difficult days. Al-Basso said that they were working for their country to reach tranquility as soon as possible and stated that everyone should make contributions to ensure tranquility in the country.
Mosul Governor added that commercial relations between Gaziantep and Mosul would contribute to further development of friendly relations between Turkey and Iraq.
