ANKARA - Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said on Wednesday that Turkey planned to give more water to its neighbors and thus, prevent wars.
Speaking in seminar on Turkey-Britain Water Council held in Ankara, Guler said that they prepared a draft to form National Water Research Institute.
Drawing attention to water need of the Middle East, Guler said that Turkey planned to give more water to its neighbors and thus, prevent war.
Guler stressed importance of Peace Water Project and said that Turkey's facilities might not be sufficient to fulfil the project.
''We want an efficient country like Britain to be more effective in Peace Water Project,'' Guler added.
