ANKARA - IMF delegation continued its studies in Treasury Undersecretariat and Banking Regulatory and Supervisory Agency (BRSA) on Tuesday afternoon.
Issues of public debt management, debt payments and local administrations were taken up during the studies in the Treasury in which Central Bank and State Planning Organization experts participated.
Another group from IMF delegation discussed general problems of the banking sector, its reconstruction and Istanbul Approach in the BRSA.

TOBB CHAIRMAN: MACRO ECONOMIC POLICIES CAN'T CONTINUE ON A SOUND BASIS WITHOUT PRIVATE SECTOR
Rifat Hisarcýklioglu, the Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) said on Tuesday that macro economic policies could not continue on a sound basis without the leg of private sector.
Hisarcýklýoglu received the same day the delegation headed by IMF Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Hisarcýklýoglu said that one of the most important problems of Turkey was employment. Hisarcýklýoglu said that the employment problem should also be taken up while macro economic policies were determined.
Hisarcýklýoglu said that the problems of the real sector were voiced in the meeting, adding that they explained the problems of the real sector in the meeting. He added that floating exchange rate had to continue.
Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) Chairman Oguz Satýcý said in his part that they discussed the problems of exporters and industrialists in the meeting.
Satýcý said that the most important problem of Turkey was its high external and internal debts.

TOBB AND TIM OFFICIALS: IF IMF DOES NOT EXTEND HELP ON SOLUTION OF MICRO PROBLEMS, LATTER CAN TURN INTO MACRO ONES
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in Turkey (TOBB) and Turkey Exporters' Assembly (TIM) told the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation that the fund should extend help on solution of micro problems, sources said on Tuesday.
TOBB and TIM officials said that if IMF did not extend help on the issue, micro problems could turn into macro ones.
Sources told A.A correspondent the issue that necessary steps should be taken in every field for liberalization was discussed in the meeting.
TOBB, TIM officials and IMF delegation took up stagnation in foreign exchange rate.
Industrialists and businessmen also informed IMF delegation about their problems in the meeting.
