ISTANBUL - According to ''RiskMeter'' survey of Koc.net, web server data of 43 percent of companies in Turkey could easily be stolen, main pages could be changed or re-directed to another address.
The content of Koc.net's "3rd RiskMeter, Turkey's Internet Security 2005" survey was made public by Koc.Net's executives Abdulkadir Ucunclu and Ozgur Danisman, today.
In the survey it was stated that there were huge deficiencies in Turkey about internet security.
The survey also indicated that Turkish internet users do not take advantage of protective software programs against the new generation internet security threats.
According to the survey, 85 percent of ADSL subscribers use antivirus programs whereas rate of those who use anti- spyware is around 30 percent.
It was also revealed that 65 percent of ADSL subscribers don't use any firewall.
