ANKARA - The net public debt stock of Turkey was 263.8 billion YTL on March 31st, 2006 (1 USD = 1.44 YTL), according to the Treasury Undersecretariat .
The net public debt stock at the end of 2005 was 269.1 billion YTL.
The debt stock has been updated by taking into account changes in the budgetary system as well as changes in financial situation of institutions that are part of the general budget.
