EDIRNE - Turkish customs officers in north-western city of Edirne confiscated 54.8 kilograms of heroin hidden in a truck that was bound for Poland today.
The truck went through an x-ray check after suspicions. With the help of a sniffer dog, the heroin hidden in the truck was found.
The driver of the truck, a Polish national, Miroslav Jan Majzel, has been arrested and will face court trial.
