ANKARA - The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in Turkey (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu said on Tuesday that economic program was going well, but the problems of exporters should be solved.
International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam met with Hisarciklioglu.
Hisarciklioglu said that they had taken up general economic condition, real sector and export issue during the meeting.
Noting that they discussed general problems of the real sector and exporters, Hisarciklioglu said that the program was going well, but the problems of exporters should be solved.
Hisarciklioglu said that IMF delegation would hold a press conference prior to their departure from Turkey.
Turkey Exporters' Assembly (TIM) Chairman Oguz Satici and IMF Representative to Turkey Odd Per Brekk also attended the meeting.
