Iraqi Trade Delegation To Come To Gaziantep

GAZIANTEP - Gaziantep Trade Chamber (GTO) Chairman Mehmet Aslan said on Tuesday that firms of Gaziantep should certainly take part in reconstruction process of Iraq.
Aslan said that an Iraqi trade delegation headed by Mosul Governor Ghanem al-Basso would visit GTO on Wednesday and added that the visit would be important in activation of commercial relations between Iraq and Gaziantep.
Aslan said that they were exerting very much effort to develop Gaziantep's commercial relations with neighbor countries. He added, ''Iraqi trade delegation is comprising of representatives of firms which are functioning in different sectors. We believe that bilateral meetings can contribute to increase in commerce between Gaziantep and Iraq.''
Noting that Iraq was very important for companies in Gaziantep and in the region, Aslan said that Gaziantep had made 60 percent of its export to Iraq before the Gulf Crisis. He added that firms of Gaziantep should certainly take part in reconstruction of Iraq.
