BRUSSELS - Association of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSIAD) will have contacts in Brussels this week.
TUSIAD's Representation in EU noted on Tuesday that the contacts would be made before EU Commission's announcing its Turkey Progress Report on November 5 and while the preparations for this report were underway. TUSIAD will mainly focus on the political and economic importance of Turkey's starting membership negotiations with EU for Europe.
TUSIAD's Deputy Chairman Mustafa Koc, executive board members will be in the delegation which will be headed by TUSIAD Chairman Tuncay Ozilhan.
The delegation which will start its contacts by holding meeting with Turkey's Permanent Representative to EU Oguz Demiralp, will be received by EU Commission's President Romano Prodi on October 9.
TUSIAD delegation which will meet with some parliamentarians in European Parliament, will meet with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Guenter Verheugen on Friday and wrap up its contacts.
