MUGLA/GURPINAR/BODRUM - Police captured on Monday 123 foreigners in southwestern province of Mugla and eastern province of Van.
Security forces captured nine Afghans who attempted to flee abroad illegally in operations in Bodrum town of Mugla.
Police caught 63 foreigners of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Syrian and Iraqi origin in Gurpinar township of Van province.
Gendarme forces also caught 51 foreigners who attempted to pass to Greece illegally in Bodrum.
Meanwhile, patrolling security forces found a dead body of a foreigner of Syrian origin who earlier attempted to pass border illegally in Enez town of northwestern Edirne province. Another foreigner of Syrian origin who was captured by security forces said that when they were hiding from police, his relative drowned in Meric river.
Officials said that those foreigners will be deported.
