ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that they would assess technical studies on dispatch of soldiers to Iraq in the meeting of Council of Ministers on Monday and stated that they would take a decision afterwards.
Upon a question on the decision of the Higher Election Board (YSK), Erdogan said, ''YSK gave information on the issue in detail. As we said earlier, our agenda does not include this issue. Because the issue is over. YSK finished it. We continue to walk on our way.''
When asked if a motion on dispatch of soldiers would come to the parliament this week, Erdogan said that they thought of submitting it to the parliament as soon as possible.
Asked whether it would be authority or permission, Erdogan said, ''we will assess technical studies on the issue in the meeting of Council of Ministers on Monday. We will take a decision according to it.''
