ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan will attend a conference entitled ''Capital Markets and Investment in Turkey'' which will be held by Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and Turkish-British Business Council in London on October 10.
Releasing a statement on Saturday, DEIK said that Babacan who would attend the conference in the Inter-Continental Hotel in London would inform international investors about Turkish economy and investment in Turkey.
Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan is also expected to participate in the conference. Turkish-British Business Council co-chairmen Tezcan Yaramanci and Bill Alexander, Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci, Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti, Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) Chairman Engin Akcakoca, Capital Market Board (SPK) Chairman Dogan Cansizlar, Foreign Capital Association (YASED) Chairman Saban Erdikler, Treasury Undersecretariat Foreign Capital Director General Melek Us and foreign investment bank experts will participate in the conference.
