MENGEN - Two workers were trapped in a firedamp explosion in a coal mine in Mengen town of northern city of Bolu on Sunday.
Mengen Subgovernor Ali Fuat Atik told A.A that a firedamp explosion occurred in a private coal mine at 7.00 a.m. today and two workers were trapped under the mine.
Efforts are underway to rescue the workers, Atik added.
