-CHILDREN OF GREEKS WHO LEFT GUZELYURT-
Greeks who were living in Guzelyurt went to Nea Kalvari hamlet of Kavalla city in Greece, while Turks who were living in Thessaloniki arrived in Guzelyurt during the people exchange in 1924.
All of the Greeks who came to attend the festival are children and grandchildren of Greeks who had left Guzelyurt in 1924. They are hosted by Turks who are now living their former houses in Guzelyurt.
