ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 33.9 million U.S. dollars between September 19 and 26, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 31 billion 468 million U.S. dollars on September 19, increased to 33 billion 870 million U.S. dollars on September 26.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 220 million U.S. dollars from 11 billion 286 million U.S. dollars to 11 billion 66 million U.S. dollars between September 19 and 26.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 377 million U.S. dollars from 42 billion 353 million U.S. dollars to 43 billion 730 million U.S. dollars between September 5-12.
