ANKARA - Total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks increased 76 million U.S. dollars to 66 billion 466 million U.S. dollars between September 12-19, 2003.
According to Central Bank's provisional statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks was 66 billion 390 million U.S. dollars on September 12.
Foreign exchange deposits increased 15 million U.S. dollars to 50 billion 830 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Total internal foreign exchange deposits increased 67 million U.S. dollars to 48 billion 546 million U.S. dollars while external foreign exchange deposits decreased 52 million U.S. dollars to 2 billion 284 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market decreased 112 million U.S. dollars to 529 million U.S. dollars.
Foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts increased 282 million U.S. dollar to 15 billion 918 million U.S. dollars between September 19-26, 2003.
