Securities Account At Banks Increases By 1.6 Quadrillion Tl

ANKARA - The securities account at banks increased 1.6 quadrillion Turkish Liras (TL) to 44 quadrillion 59.2 trillion TL on September 19, 2003.
The total securities account at banks was 42 quadrillion 434.5 trillion TL on September 12.
The Central Bank data show that there were a total of 43 quadrillion 196.9 trillion TL of securities including 25 quadrillion 483.9 trillion TL of securities and 16 quadrillion 843.2 trillion TL of securities over foreign currency in the deposit banks portfolio.
The securities over TL at deposit banks are composed of 3 quadrillion 528.7 trillion TL in treasury bonds, 21 quadrillion 462.9 trillion TL in state debenture bonds and 443.9 trillion TL in stocks.
A total of 869.7 trillion TL of foreign currency securities at these banks are abroad while there is a total of 16 quadrillion 712.4 trillion TL of state debenture bonds among the domestic securities.
The total securities account at the development and investment banks was 858.7 trillion TL.
