ANKARA - Banks' credit volume decreased 30.8 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 48 quadrillion 278.1 trillion TL between September 12-19, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 48 quadrillion 308.9 trillion TL on September 12.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 816.4 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 659.3 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 164.9 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 41 quadrillion 280.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 356.8 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
