TASHKENT - Third term Joint Economic Committee (JEC) meetings were held in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe.
The talks took place under the leadership of State Minister Mehmet Aydin and Tajikistan's First Deputy Prime Minister Esadullah Gulamov. Bilateral economic and trade relations, food, textile, leather, energy, tourism and education were discussed during the talks.
JEC protocol, which was given the final shape during the talks, is expected to be signed on Friday.
Meanwhile Tajikistan's Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov received State Minister Aydin.
Calling on Turkish businessmen to invest in Tajikistan, Oqilov said they had necessary legal basis for investment. Oqilov called on Turkish businessmen to invest in Tajikistan particularly in food, textile, leather, and energy.
