ANKARA - Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu supports UN Secretary General Kofi Annan`s report on Israeli attack on Qana town of Lebanon (on July 30th, 2006).
Releasing a statement, OIC said on Tuesday that international law and Geneva Conventions were violated with this attack.
Stating that Ihsanoglu also strongly condemned attacks targeting civilians in the south of Lebanon, it indicated that Qana attack was one of cruel attacks that Israel has been staging on Lebanon for more than three weeks.
Annan said in his report that Qana attack was an indication of violation of international law, calling on Israel and Hezbollah to fulfill their tasks regarding international law.
