BAKU - ``Investments in youth and sports are actually investments in a country`s future,`` said Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin in Azerbaijani capital Baku today.
Sahin met Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov in Baku on Tuesday.
Sahin told Rahimov that ``Turkey wishes to develop cooperation in youth and sports matters with Azerbaijan.``
Minister Sahin remarked that his administration has the goal to develop relations in all fields of sports with Azerbaijan. ``Perhaps it would be beneficial for our athletes and players to camp together,`` stressed Sahin.
Meanwhile, Rahimov indicated that they give high priority to relations with Turkey. ``Minister Sahin`s visit to Baku has taken our relations to a higher level,`` told Rahimov.
Sahin later visited the Azerbaijani National Olympics Committee HQ and received information on the activities of the committee from Rahimov.
Mehmet Ali Sahin is expected to sign two protocols on Wednesday on cooperation in disaster management and youth and sports in Baku.
