TEHRAN - State Minister Kursad Tuzmen met on Wednesday with Iranian Minister of Roads and Transport Ahmad Khoram.
Khoram said that they hoped Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit Iran as soon as possible and expressed belief that such visits would make important contribution to development of bilateral relations.
Tuzmen said that transportation, energy, finance and industry and trade ministers would visit Iran soon.
Iranian Minister of Education and Training Morteza Haji-Qaem would visit Ankara, Tuzmen noted.
Tuzmen said, ''after appropriate atmosphere is ensured, Erdogan will pay a visit to this country. All these initiatives will create an appropriate platform for Prime Minister Erdogan's visit. We expect Iranian President Mohammad Khatami to visit Turkey.''
