DUBAI - Fifteen Israeli soldiers were killed Wednesday in fighting with Hezbollah militants in south Lebanon, Al-Jazeera reported.
Previously the news channel had reported 11 soldiers dead in the clashes.
The Israeli army has not confirmed the deaths. A spokeswoman had said earlier that 15 Israeli soldiers had been "hit" in fierce clashes with Hezbollah fighters in south Lebanon as the conflict entered its fifth week.
