ANKARA - Higher Election Board (YSK) Chairman Tufan Algan said on Tuesday that besides new material facts, new legal facts came onto the agenda after the decision of Supreme Court of Appeals on DEHAP and stated that what was important was to find the most appropriate legal solution to those material and legal facts.
When a reporter said, ''there have been two applications for cancellation of elections so far. When will you decide on applications?'' Algan said, ''besides new material facts, new legal facts have come onto the agenda. Some political parties will apply to the YSK on that issue. We will assess those applications. What is important is to find the most appropriate legal solution to those material and legal facts.''
Stating that it would take time, Algan said that they would work to take the most appropriate decision on the issue.
Asked how long it would take, Algan said that they would try to make a decision on the issue as soon as possible.
