Greek Ambassador Hopes Elections In Cyprus Will Yield Favorable Results

DIYARBAKIR - Greek Ambassador to Turkey Michael Christides said on Monday that he hoped that elections in Cyprus would yield favorable results.
Christides who visited Diyarbakir Governor Nusret Miroglu also met with Mayor Feridun Celik.
Upon a question on elections in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Christides said that he hoped that elections in Cyprus would yield favorable results and added that he wanted both sides to take their place in the European Union (EU).
