IZMIR/KAHRAMANMARAS - Security forces impounded 71 kilograms of heroin in two separate operations, sources told the A.A on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces stopped and searched a minibus in Cesme town of the western city of Izmir. They found 61 kg of heroin hidden in the vehicle.
In another operation in the southeastern city of Kahramanmaras, security forces seized 10 kg of heroin.
Two people were detained in the operations.
